It's Finally Here!!

We laid our sod tonight, so now we have beautiful dark green grass in our front yard and on one side. We had so many wonderful people come help. It was amazing to truly see how many hands make light work. We are especially grateful to Ben for taking charge and being quality control. Damon was super needy tonight, so I mostly just held him. He is very excited for grass, but mostly just the chance to wear Uncle Ben's cool shades

Just look at that lovely lawn--it amazes me that in a few short hours we went from dirt to turf.

As you can see, our landscaping efforts have a long way to go, but I like to just think it is a work in progress.
