One Year Later

So it's been nearly a year since our last post and we thought we might post and catch up a little bit up on the last year. At the very least we can put some pictures up and state some of the more significant current events of our family.
First and foremost: Julie is pregnant again! She's due in September and we're very excited. Since we've had a boy and a girl already we're going to try not finding out. We've got lots of name ideas but if you have any suggestions (or really random/obscure family names you don't plan on using) let us know because we love to try them all.
Damon is the typical big brother finding any opportunity to poke or knock over his sister but he tries really hard to be good. He loves cars and trains and has recently been introduced to a PBS series called Dinosaur Train. He loves it. More than anything though right now he like all things soldier. We found some old camo pajamas and he loves to wear them all day long. He also found a digi-camo back-pack and it's his soldier bag. He loves to put toys into it and "march" around the house.
Emma is growing so fast. Her hair is finally growing out so Julie can play with it and make really cute hair styles. She's absolutely adorable. She just started nursery at the beginning of this year and she's a great little helper. She cries right when we leave but within five minutes she's forgot all about us and she's fine. She's learning to talk more and more and likes to try and repeat back what you're saying: it's really cute.
Joel has started a new job working at the MTC and he likes it a lot. He starts earlier in the day but gets home sooner so it's nice and he's learning to cope with the early mornings. Joel just celebrated his two year anniversary Army Reserves and just took second place at his battalion Best Warrior Competition. We're pretty proud of him. We're currently waiting to hear whether or not he'll be allowed to attend Officer Candidate School and in the fall Joel will go back to school and start on getting a Masters of Public Administration which will be paid for mostly by his work. At least that's the plan; there's still a lot up in the air.
All in all we're happy and healthy and feel blessed beyond measure and we pray the same for any and all of you.

PS: Hopefully it won't be another year before our next post.

Julie, what does Joel do at the MTC? Your kids are adorable by the way.
